Australian Olympic Committee names Australian Gymnastics Team for Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games





Following Australia securing four of the five gymnastics quota positions up for grabs for the Oceania region at the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games, over the past month the Australia Olympic Committee has announced the names of the athletes selected to the Australian Team heading to Argentina this October.

The 2018 Australian Gymnastics Championships -  held at Melbourne’s Hisense Arena in May earlier this year - doubled as the Oceania Continental Championships and quota spot selection trial for the Youth Olympic Games, with the best age-eligible athletes from both Australian and New Zealand in Men’s Artistic, Women’s Artistic, Rhythmic and Trampoline gymnastics vying for qualification.

The Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games will kick off on Saturday 6 October, and run through until October 18.  Good luck to the selected athletes and their coaches in their final preparations before heading to Argentina!
