A strong competitor at national level in Australian Acrobatic Gymnastics, has taken a step up in the sport in 2016, making her international debut at the Flanders International Acro Cup in Belgium.  In the 12-18 Women's Trio event, Barry and her partners progressed to the final to finish sixth.
