Eastside Activity Centre (EAC) located in Rokeby, Tasmania, recently won the highly sought after national Inside Sport Clubbies Award for 'Best Facility'.

The owner of EAC, Felicity Harvey, said that this was a huge achievement for the family-run centre.

"We are so proud to have been given this national recognition for our centre after establishing it six years ago.

"We were up against tough competition, with over 1,100 nominations and twelve semi-finalists selected for each category.

"Winners are selected by both an expert panel and online voting by the public and we want to thank all those who supported us.

"We have always striven to provide an excellent facility with top quality equipment and trainers to help children and young people from all walks of life experience the joy and benefits of gymnastics and trampolining among other activities.

"Schools and other community organisations such as Mosaics regularly use the centre so children of all abilities can discover and enjoy gymnastics.

"We recently even had the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra hold its mini maestro concert in the centre as part of families week."
